In all reservation procedures, it is assumed that the person making the booking has accepted the Terms and Conditions.

- use this website exclusively for personal and non commercial purposes and that the reservation requests you make are legitimate and not fictional or fraudulent;

The information and content displayed on our site is property of the Guides In Portugal and when using our site, you agree not to modify, reproduce, copy, distribute or publish any of the contents, products or services here displayed, nor assist any third party with those purposes. You also agree not to insert direct links in any part of our site without our expressed written authorisation.
Prices, Payments, and Cancellations.
The prices that are displayed on our website are per person and its conversion to other currencies is based on the exchange rate of the moment, i.e., the final price is subject to the variations of the exchange rate until payment is effectively made. The priced do not include gratuities or tips for the tourism professionals; or insurance for luggage or any other items of a personal nature or beverages and meals not specified in our programs.
When you book a product through our website, we collect your payment data. Guides In Portugal accepts payments through the following means : Credit Card, PayPal, Bank Transfers and Debit Card. Guides In Portugal does not charge service fees for payments with credit or debit cards. To reserve any of our products, you will need to pay the full amount of the tour through one of the payment methods mentioned above. For payments with credit cards, if the confirmation is not immediately available, we will be keep an open authorization on the credit card, until the reservation is fully confirmed.
The invoice will be issued in the name of the Ousia Guide, Lda (Guides In Portugal).
The cancellation of a booking may require billing of cancellation fees by Guides In Portugal, even if the cancellation is requested 72 hours before to reserved tour, as it may entail direct costs for Guides In Portugal.
The cancellation fee will be informed by e-mail.
Once the tour and contracted services have begun , there won´t be any refunding rights.
Other tourist products, such as the Gift voucher will not be refunded under any circumstances.
The excursions with a discount, are promotions available for the limited period of time and are not refundable products.
Guides In Portugal is not responsible for fees charged in the transaction of a refund. Any costs with these transactions will be the customer’s responsibility and will be deducted at time of refund. Please note that your bank may charge fees on these transactions and that will be your responsibility. If you have any questions regarding the conversion rates charged, please contact your bank. After making a reservation or payment , you will receive proof of the payment through e-mail.
When you present yourself for your tour, you must present your Voucher (printed or electronic) and proof of identification, such as an Id card or Passport with a photograph.
Documents & Insurance
In order to book our products, including those intended for Spain, the customer is responsible for complying with all legal requirements necessary to enter the countries. To meet requirements related to passport and visas, consult the Consulate or Embassy in your country. We recommend that you purchase a travel insurance policy before your departure in order to completely protect yourself and all products that you have purchased.
Guides In Portugal have Civil Liability and Personal Accident insurance for the tours we perform, in accordance to the terms required by the law (Decree-Law 191/2009, August 17.) Please note that all visits are insured. For tours that entail use of any means of transportation (bicycle, car, mini-vans, buses, small boats) and during the travelling time, all insurances are of the sole responsibility of the entities that are subcontracted for that effect.
